With two music degrees, interest from the music industry, experience in teaching in University, privately, freelance, and as a Supply Teacher in most of Bradford’s schools, Philip has combined his learning and experience to create techniques that ensure workshops are delivered in the best way possible. Using his music education, he has introduced techniques that ensure participants write a successful rap every time. His teaching experience allows him to take the best from teaching techniques and combine it with youth-work techniques to create a relaxed, fun, enjoyable, yet driven educational workshop experience. His experience as a Connexions/Education Bradford Personal Adviser gives him knowledge and techniques enabling him to work with some of the hardest to reach young people.

Marcus started working voluntarily in schools and youth groups and live performances at various community events led to organisations asking him to come and teach young people about rap music. He has performed songs on music television channels several times and has had good local media exposure with recent interest from Hat Trick Productions looking to make a documentary about his experiences as a Rapper. Due to his experience in schools and having worked with a diverse age range of young people, Marcus knows the importance of making the workshops fun and is great at keeping the young people entertained.
